Death Summary

This is the “Death Summary” dictated by Dr. Doty. Note that Jessie was presented to Memorial Hospital in a coma, taken emergently to the operating room, found to have a massive subdural hematoma with evidence of cerebral contusion. The severity of the trauma, and the multiple veins lacerated over the brain surface, could not be controlled. The wound was simply closed. [Please note that there is an obvious error with respect to the alcohol level, the dictated report, below, indicates 79 mg/dl, whereas the toxicology report clearly states 76 ml/dl.]
